My Current Favourite YouTuber's

For years now I've spent my free time watching YouTube videos and during this time my tastes in videos and YouTuber's has changed, today I'm writing a post about my favourite YouTuber's at the moment.

I won't be discussing channels with MILLIONS of subscribers such as Unbox Therapy (who by the way if you haven't heard of, you should go watch) and Zoella. Instead i'll be posting about smaller, but definitely not worse YouTubers who I love.

Links to all channels that I discuss will be added to this post.

JaackMaate aka Jack Dean: I have watched Jack's videos for as long as I can remember, and before anyone goes off to watch his videos, I would advise not to if you are easily offended. I find him absolutely hillarious and I love the frequency of his uploads (every Monday and Thursday).

On a positive side Jack isn't afraid to speak about issues that some YouTuber's will avoid out of not wanting to cause conflict. Jack also has a series on his channel called 'Jaack Chat' where he interviews celebrities, his most recent being Ricky Gervais which was bloody brilliant.

Jack also has a vlogging channel and a football channel if you are more interested in those types of videos.

VelvetGh0st aka Gabriella Lindley: I watch all of Gabby's videos and I love every single one, she uploads a huge range of different vidoes, some of my favourites are; My Weight Loss Surgery, Full Face Using Kid's Makeup, and her most recent Primark Haul. Also, any videos where she sings as her voice is amazing but her cover is Niall Horan- This Town is my favourite so far.

Gabby also has a vlog chanel where she posts random days out her life, I love watching Gabby's vlogs as they're so full of honesty its refreshing and I always leave Gabby's videos wishing that she was my friend!

DaintyDressDiaries aka Catherine Carton: Now Catherine only uploaded her first YouTube video on the 5th of November, but I am SO happy that she did. I have followed her on snapchat for a while now and she is amazing.

Also she runs a blog which you can find here. I have only gotten around to watching one of Catherine's videos so far but her second is waiting patiently in my watch later list ready for when I finally get to it, it's a kitchen tour, her house is basically my dream home and her cat Blondie is the most beautiful cat I have ever laid eyes on.

Chris Stuckmann: This is currently my go-to channel before I watch any movie, I tend to like to find out wether or not a film is worth watching before I bother, and Chris' reviews in my opinion are always spot on. If any of his videos contain spoilers he will make sure the word spoiler is in the video title and is really good at explaining generally what the film is about without ruining the whole thing.

My favourite video by Chris at the minute is this year's Halloween Special. I don't watch every single video Chris uploads, I tend to just watch his reviews of films that I am interested in watching at the time, or films that I have watched as I am always interested in seeing what people thought of films I loved/hated.

RoseEllenDix and TheRoxetera aka Rose Ellen Dix and Rosie Spaughton: I've paired these two together because, you pretty much don't get one without the other. They're a married couple who mak the most insanely random videos I've ever seen and I am obsessed with them. They also sometimes interview celebrities, you can see their recent video with Tom Hanks, Ron Howard and Irraf Khan here.

When I first came accross both chanels I went back and watched almost all of their videos together, and as soon as they upload a video, I ignore my 150 odd long 'watch later' list and watch their video as soon as I get the change. They also have a gaming chanel where you can witness their hillarious attempts at playing games. Give them a watch and you won't regret it.

Thank you for reading, if you liked this post I would be more than happy to do another at some point as I'm always finding new YouTube channels to watch. Please leave a comment below on what you think of these YouTuber;'s, or some recommendations of new people for me to watch.

Current Netflix Favourites

So as I currently have a lot of free time due to part-time studying and looking for work, I find myself watching Netflix a lot. I watch very few films as I prefer TV series that I can really get into and recommend to my friends and family.

I will leave a link to each shows iMDB page as I always check the reviews on iMDB before watching, and a lot of the time during when I have one of those 'where do I recognise that actor/actress from?' moments.

Black Mirror: Season 4 of this has just been put on Netflix and am not too proud to admit that I watched the enitre season in this order- watch, sleep, wake up and watch more, and I was massively impressed. This show gets better by the season season, and each time I still find myself thinking 'they wont be able to top this'. I am a huge fan of anything scary or creepy but whilst home alone the other night I had to turn this off and watch it in the morning so be warned anyone who isn't a fan of anything scary (although the only one I have actually found scary isnt until the 2nd episode of the 4th season so you're safe up until then).

The best way I can describe Black Mirror is by saying that it is a future based TV show that looks at the dark side of technology. For example in season 1 there is an episode called 'the entire history of you' the characters in the episode all have a chip inserted into their neck, this chip records everything they do, the episode looks at the positives of this; never forgetting someone you've met, never forgetting memories of things such as weddings and births. The show then looks at the negatives of this also (I would give an example but I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't yet seen it).

RuPaul's Drag Race: I've seen season 2 through to Season 7 of RuPaul's drag race and I honestly cannot explain how much I love this show. It is hilarious and RuPaul is absolutely amazing.

For anyone who isn't familiar with the show, RuPaul's drag race is, in my opinion similar to America's Next Top Model and Skin Wars. Hosted by RuPaul- the most famous drag queen in the world, who brings in 14 drag queens from around America, to compete to be crowned America's drag queen superstar. The queen's must create runway looks and take part in challenges that involve acting, singing, dancing and impersonations. Each week a queen is eliminated based on their performance in the main challenge, and on their runway looks. Once it gets down to just 3 remaining queens a Reunion episode is held where all queens are bought back and discuss the season, before the winner is crowned.

American Horror Story: I have seen seasons 1 to 5 of American Horror Story, as each season is different I will not be describing each of them, as this post would be far too long if I did this, but you can find a brief description about each season on the iMDB page. My favourite seasons have been 1 ,2 and 5. My least favourite season was season 3. As is in the name, this is a horror type show so I wouldn't advise anyone who doesn't like horror to watch it. Each season is alike in the sense that the episodes flick between the past and the present to give more depth and explanation to the story. Also side note, since starting to write this post they've FINALLY put season 5 onto netflix which means I can re-watch it. Yay!

Gilmore Girls: I'll admit, before now I had only ever watched a few episodes of Gilmore girls, but I have finally started (binge)watching it on netflix and I am obsessed with it. I feel like this show does not need explanation as everyone and their mother has seen the show, but to put it briefly; it follows a single mother and daughter on the various difficulties they face and overcome in their relationship. The relationship between Lorelai and Rory Gilmore is funny and touching and watching it now makes me wonder why on earth I was so late to the Gilmore party. The characters are brilliant and the show really made me feel like I wanted to live in Stars Hollow along with all the residents.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend: I have a hugely confusing love-hate relationship with this show, the best way I could possibly describe it would be to call it; a part musical, part satirical/comedy show about a girl who abandons her life and moves from New York to West Covina because of a run-in with her childhood boyfriend. There is an insane amount of musical numbers in the show and it is so over dramatic that it makes me want to laugh and roll my eyes at the same time. Although, that being said I've been watching the new season each Saturday religiously and I seriously want them to continue making the show after Season 2.

That's all the shows I'm going to talk about this time but if you would like a part 2, or a 'current amazon video favourites' please let me know in the comments. I'd also love to hear some feedback on what you think of the shows mentioned if you've seen any of them, or what shows you're planning on watching after reading this.

I hope you enjoyed this post, and if you haven't already, you can also have a look at my previous posts.
